This is a Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy entry, and after the header 'Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy / Non-wellfounded Set Theory / First published Wed Apr 16, 2008; substantive revision Tue Apr 24, 2018' it opens: 'This entry is about two kinds of circularity: object circularity, where an object is taken to be part of itself in some sense; and definition circularity, where a collection is defined in terms of itself.' That is the entry's own first paragraph, not a separate labelled abstract -- it is where the article begins, and it continues without a break into the exposition.
